Lawn Restoration

Pests such as ants, grubs, moles, and voles are common in the mid west. Pest control consists of applications of control agents to reduce or eliminate the pests that can be a problem to homeowners.

Lawn Aeration

Aeration commonly refers to the process of using mechanized equipment to either puncture the soil with spikes (spike aeration) or remove approximately 1" x 2" cores of soil from the ground (core aeration). Aeration may be overlooked when trying to restore a lawn but is vital to bring it back to health. It improves drainage and reduces puddles formation.

Lawn Dethatching

"Dethatching" lawns refers to the mechanical removal from a lawn of the layer of dead turfgrass tissue known as "thatch." This residue is bad for your grass, as it keeps water and nutrients from seeping down to grass roots. Preventing thatch buildup isn't nearly as big a part of lawn care as is mowing, but you should not overlook its importance in the long run. –
